Game Of Thrones Season 1 Mark Bean Biography
Shaun Mark Bean, known professionally as Sean Bean, is an
English actor. He made his professional debut in a theater production of Romeo
and Juliet in 1983 after graduating from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
Since then, Bean has gained further recognition for his performance as Ned
Stark in the HBO epic fantasy series Game of Thrones. Other roles include Alec
Trevelyan in the James Bond GoldenEye and Odysseus film in Troy, Patriot Games,
Ronin, National Treasure, North Country, The Island, Silent Hill, Black Death,
Jupiter Ascending and The Martian. During his career, he received several
awards and won an international Emmy for the best actor. He was also awarded
the BAFTA and Saturn Awards.
In Handsworth, Bean was born. He's Rita and Brian Bean 's
son. He's got a younger sister Lorraine. His father owned a manufacturing shop
with 50 employees, including the mother of Bean, who worked as a secretary.
Although relatively wealthy, the family never moved away from the estate of the
council, as they preferred to be close to friends and family. In 1983, Bean
graduated from RADA.
Later that year, he made his professional acting debut as
Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. He was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company,
appearing in Romeo and Juliet productions.
